RUD was the first company to be certified for the manufacture of Grade 80 lifting chain and, in 1972, was awarded the prestigious official identification number H1. In 1992 RUD's quality system was endorsed in accordance with ISO 9001-the first chain manufacturer to achieve such accreditation.
