RUD Australia supplies, engineers and manufactures drive chain and material handling technology for power plants. Whether you need to transport raw biomass to a boiler for combustion, or dispose of the combustion residues, the resilient Cratos® conveyor systems are designed to face these conditions.
Cratos® is strong and resistant to wear, helping power plant operators meet their responsibility to continuously supply base load energy. It is also cleverly engineered to reduce maintenance and operating costs.

RUD chains, sprocket wheels, chain wheels, apron conveyors, connectors and attachments can be configured to meet the precise needs of each operation. Our comprehensive catalogue of spare parts makes maintenance easy and cost-effective, ensuring your system is a lasting investment for reliable plant productivity.
RUD system components are always perfectly matched to provide reliable systems solutions. We consider ourselves to be the industrial sector’s partner for engineering, project planning, system commissioning and servicing, from components and modules to entire systems.
The Cratos® system has been developed and perfected over decades, incorporating clever design components of the highest quality. RUD Australia’s solutions help coal-fired, biomass and waste-to-energy power plants maximise reliability and productivity.
Whether you need a complete bucket elevator, a chain conveyor or a chain drive, we meet every conveying challenge using round steel chains, forked chains or belts as traction mechanisms. Our engineers have extensive experience and would be happy to provide advice on your specific situation.

RUD Germany successfully executed the lifting of a 25-metre-long, 56-tonne lattice cage in downtown Berlin, part of a bridge pier infrastructure project and the largest structure of its kind ever installed in the area. Due to the scale and instability of the load, extensive planning was undertaken with project stakeholders to ensure a safe and controlled lifting method. The operation was completed using two 22 mm RUD VIP chain blocks, enabling precise load distribution through a specialised suspension system where the chains run over deflection rollers for optimal control.
RUD engineered a dual-chain VIP lifting configuration that delivered balanced load distribution and secure on-site installation of the large structure.
